TRADE NOTICES No. 02/2004

All members of Trade and Industry are hereby informed that it has been decided
that, in cases where advance Licenses were issued on Provisional SSI Certificate of their
supporting manufacturers, those exporters have to submit the evidence regarding commencement of production by their supporting manufacturers e.g., as given below:

1) The evidence/proof of submission of request for issuance of permanent SSI Certificate.

2) A certificate from DIC to the effect that manufacturing has started.

3) A certificate from the excise authority that manufacturing facility exists.

4)Permanent SSI Certificate.

For the new cases, valid SSI Registration Certificate is a requisite document.
